Cineluce, LLC (“Cineluce,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a film distribution company and online platform connecting independent filmmakers and streaming platforms. We act as a distributor to help filmmakers license their films to partner platforms. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our services, and the choices you have. It complies with major global privacy laws including the EU/UK GDPR, California’s CCPA/CPRA, Canada’s PIPEDA, Brazil’s LGPD, COPPA, and emerging U.S. state privacy laws (VA, CO, CT, UT). By using Cineluce’s platform, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: When you register as a filmmaker or platform partner, we collect your name, email, contact information, company or organization name, and uploaded content such as film files, trailers, artwork, metadata, and licensing materials. We also collect billing and payout details for payments and royalties (credit card and bank data are handled securely by payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, or Escrow.com).
Information collected automatically: We collect IP address, device ID, browser type, pages viewed, watch history, and technical diagnostics using cookies and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). These help us secure and optimize platform performance.
Information from third parties: We may receive limited data from service providers or integrations (e.g., analytics, email, or escrow partners). We do not purchase or sell personal data.
